We sat down with our team rider Korak Tinoco and came up with a hybrid that leans towards the shortboard side more than the fish. Korak said "I wanted to create something that would rip like my shortboards, but small enough to fit into small pockets and thick enough to move fast".
The outline is nicely round like shortboard, but with a wider nose and lower rocker. We kept the thickness throughout the whole board all the way to the tail block. Bump in the tail with a thumb tail for more of a shortboard performance. Single concave bottom, with soft forgiving rails.
Every level surfer with the right dimensions can ride this board.
Best for beach-breaks, and hollow/step point breaks. This board is best from knee to overhead waves just make sure they have a little bit on punch.
