The "Beast" is a compressed gun giving up length for width and thickness. It allows you ride a shorter board when the waves are bigger. 

The extra width and thickness in the middle of board is used for stronger paddling. The pinned out thin tail holds the rail line of the board for big hallow take offs. Single to double concave. Soft forgiving rail in the chest zone of the board and sharpen out through the tail. 

Design for over-head to double over-head+ surf. A board concerned more about a barrels than doing turns down the beach. Advanced, experts and pro surfers only.
