BRADY MAC GETS FULL PAGE SPREAD IN THE OSIDER MAGAZINE

Remember when they shut down the beaches? Yeap, that was a nightmare. Shortly after they re-opened, the shoreline of Southern California saw good to decent swell all throughout the month of June. Most importantly due to the recent regulations from the Covid-19 pandemic people were not venturing out their home town to go surf other places. As a result, line-ups where field with happy locals surfing with their homebreak with their hometown friends. Ohhh, those were the days.. it only lasted about 10 days.

Anyways, during those days of glory team rider Brady Mackenzie and local ripper Lucas Owston lined up with photographer Vladimir Tis for one amazing double-shack shot on a crispy Oceanside morning.

Brady says, "This was at the start of the morning, I was just getting warmed up going on little ones, I think so was Lucas." Apparently the swell was rising all morning that day. "I took off, got a little cover up and paddle back out, didn't think much it" But when we saw the shot we knew it was special. Same wave, two barrels, one shot. That's hard to come around.
